The bears - that chocolate one in the sky blue striped tee is sweeter than a cake filled pie. Fall is coming, and it will be time to pull out the needles soon!

From the natty folks at Design Within Reach:This is called the "utility blanket". It is 100% cotton. It costs $300. It is not filled with gold leaf. As near as I can tell, it has not been blessed by the pope. I'm also fairly certain that it is not bulletproof. All that utility for only $300. I'm going to sew my ass off when I get home tonight.

I want I want I want

I want to do a _____ - a-long, or a swap or a trade. I need to figure out how to start one up myself. Back-Tack was great, too bad I didn't learn about it until it was over. Modern Quilt-A-Long sounds like fun, but my attempts to sign up have failed at every turn. Maybe they're full, too. Boo.

In other news, I spent 2 hours looking all over the internet for this lady who makes pincushions out of felt. I don't know why, but I really feel like I need to buy one of the pincushions she makes except I can't find her name. I must be feeling particularly unfulfilled today.
