The Best Job I Ever Had...
Everyone's heard the CPB/NPR/PBS story before, so I won't repeat it. It's all about the mission. And then, there's also the Tiny Desk concert series, which is absolutely brilliant.

Looking for a little inspiration...
I stumbled upon a whole lot. This is a big birthday year and I'm thinking about getting my house in order (literally and figuratively). I think that there are signs all around me that that is, indeed, what I should be doing. For instance, I keep bumping into things and people (I need new glasses this year, too) that make me stop and examine how and who I am in the world. Here's some stuff that's giving me good pause right now:
- The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind
- Bikram Yoga. It gives me so much peace, I'm not sure why I don't do it more. That's about to change, as I'm taking the 30 day challenge starting October 1!
More later...
This new template sucks. I am looking for another one. So sad that the original design was deleted yesterday.

I KNOW!
“They try to paint the picture that I was this downtrodden, ugly girl who was unpopular in school and in life, and then I got this role and now I’m awesome,” says the actress. “But the truth is that I’ve been awesome, and then I got this role.”
This is Gabby Sidibe talking about people confusing her with the role she plays in the movie-I-can't-wait-to-see, Precious. If you haven't heard about it, you better look it up.
